DHI - ( Diploma in Health Inspector )

Intake : 20 Seats
After SSLC-3 years course plus 3 months internship
After 2nd PUC (Science) - 2 years course plus 3 months internship.

Diploma in Health Inspector is a paramedical diploma which can be pursued after passing 10 Std or 12 PUC Science. The duration of the diploma for S.S.L.C students will be 3 years Plus 3 months internship & for II PUC (Science / PCMB), depending upon the candidate qualification 2 years Plus 3 months internship. Candidates have to complete the study for respective years, to attain completion certificate for the course.


ELIGIBILITY & COURSE DURATION

Pass in S.S.L.C or Equivalent Examination or II PUC Under Science such as PCB, PCMB, CBZ or any other equivalent qualifications.

3 years Plus 3 months internship for S.S.L.C students or 2 years Plus 3 months internship for II PUC (science) students.

    DHI 2nd YEAR
    • Paper-I : ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY, COMMUNITY HEALTH, HEALTH & DISEASES, & BEHAVIORS SCIENCES.
    • Paper-II : NUTRITION & HEALTH, MICROBIOLOGY, PARASITOLOGY, PUBLIC HEALTH, ENVIRONMENTAL HEALT.
    • Paper-III : EPIDEMOLOGY, CONCEPTS OF DISESE PREVENTION & CONTROL, ELIMENTARY STATISTICS.

    DHI 3rd YEAR
    • Paper-I : FAMILY PLANING, ORIENTATION OF HEALTH CARE.
    • Paper-II : HEALTH EDUCATION AND COMMUNICATION, ESSENTIAL DRUGS AND TRATEMENT OF MINOR DISEASES, LEGAL MEDICINE.
    • Paper-III:COMMUNICABLE AND NON COMMUNICABLE DISEASES, MCH, RCH PROGRAMMES.

    • Diploma in Health Inspector can lead students to some worthy jobs and roles, as healthcare is one of the largest and important sectors of the country. The students can be appointed to various junior and mid-level jobs in Municipal Corporations, Private Hospitals, Public Hospitals, Hotels, Diagnostic Laboratories and Pathology Labs. Medical Assistant

To help patients by providing proper information. Conducting preliminary physical tests, maintaining records, ensuring regular checkups, maintaining medical supplies and performing preventive maintenance are also part of the duty.

Multipurpose Health Worker

Conducting periodic field visits, maintaining records and registers, helping in implementation of public health programs, environmental sanitation, spreading awareness, immunization etc form the part of the job.

Laboratory Assistant

The work of a laboratory assistant includes collection of relevant samples from patients, giving preliminary instructions to patients, maintaining records about patients and distributing test reports to patients.

Field Assistant

A field assistant has to assist his superior during a field visit. This may include carrying proper documents and files to the site, managing incoming patients on the site, maintaining proper medical supplies etc.

Health/Sanitation Inspector

A health or sanitation inspector is responsible for ensuring best practice in the area with regards to hygiene and cleanliness. He/she may need to conduct field visits, manage vaccination programs, correct malfunctioning of sanitation system, handle complains etc.

Food Inspector

The food inspector proper implementation of consumer food safety protection laws. He/she may need to visit various food outlets to conduct the tests to ensure whether the proper quality of food is being served or not.
